How do I pass the Certified Kubernetes Administrator Certification(CKA) in 15 days?

Hola! 🙋‍♂️

I’m working as a full-time DevOps engineer for a firm and longing to clear The Linux Foundation CKA. Due to work and commitments, I couldn’t keep my learning consistent.

At a point, I took it as a challenge and told myself to complete it by September 2023. While I’m on the CKA swing I want to put all of my prep steps and things necessary before appearing for CKA.

NOTE: I have been managing production workloads on Kubernetes, especially EKS. I was aware of the workings of the architecture but EKS is a managed service which abstracts the core components. So I had to mainly concentrate on the control plane components and their working.

Here I will include all the resources that came in handy during my preparation. If you have done the following resources cheers you are good to appear for the exam.

1 . Start off with a comprehensive course by Kodekloud. (Nothing beats this). They will get your basics right and the course has got all the concepts required for the exam.

2. Once you are confident start solving the questions and mock by Kodekloud again is the best.

3. Now, It’s time to attack many questions from different platforms.

4. Solve all scenarios in killercoda.

5. Do Killer.sh at last as it is much more complex than the original exam but try to solve as many as you can and carefully go through the solutions.

I took the exam at my home and I haven’t faced any issues as everything went smoothly.

Note: Make sure the registered name is the same as on your ID.

Within 24hrs I got a mail with the CKA badge I checked the detailed report and I secured 84%.
